Jesus Meets the Women of Jerusalem

Perhaps the familiar faces of the women, who followed him, give Jesus the strength to stand, after falling a second time. That community of women is there to support him, encourage him, pray for him, even though they cannot help bear the physical weight of the cross.
For Reflection:
Who is supporting you during this time? What pandemic lessons are they helping you learn now so that things might be different in the future – there will be a future?
Action:
During this time of social distancing and self-isolation, we pray in gratitude for ministry teams, who support us, pray for us, and encourage us. We give thanks for our Daughters of the King community that continues to pray for all our parishioners. Like the women of Jerusalem, our DOK sustain us, as we continue to bear the weight of this pandemic.
Pray in silent gratitude for the support of our DOK.
When you’re ready, offer this prayer and move to the next station.
Prayer: We adore you, O Christ and we bless you. Because by your Holy Cross, you have redeemed the world. Amen.
