Jesus Is Nailed to The Cross

For then, for before then, for now, for what will be, for all of eternity, every moment of human suffering is fixed in God’s incarnate body nailed to that wood. Nothing can separate us from his love.

For Reflection:

For each of us, there is a moment of truth, literally our personal “Come to Jesus” when we face every fear and cannot turn away from how painful it is to experience it. But, it is also the moment we say, “this ends now.” What in your life are you ready to hand over to God once and for all?

Action:

In the midst of this pandemic, we pray for all who feel separated from Christ’s love and for those who doubt God’s presence. May God grant each of us the grace to view this pandemic through the lens of the cross. Trusting that even in the midst of death and darkness God’s love is still there.

Pray in silence for those who feel separated from God.

When you’re ready, offer this prayer and move to the next station.

Prayer: We adore you, O Christ and we bless you. Because by your Holy Cross, you have redeemed the world. Amen.
