Music Ministry

 

We are fortunate to have Brandon Nonnemaker as our Minister of Music, in charge of the music program and serving as choir director.  Brandon is currently the music teacher at Mt. Yonah Elementary School.   He has a Bachelor of Arts, Music, and a Master of Arts in Teaching, Music Education, from Piedmont College, and holds a Doctor of Education, Music Education from the University of Georgia.

 

Leanne Kinney is our parish musician.  Leanne is currently the chorus teacher at White County High School.

Resurrection has a dedicated choir of about 12-15 people who meet every Wednesday night at 5:30 p.m. for rehearsal.  The choir sings every Sunday at the 10:30 a.m. service, performing an eclectic mix of sacred music from old favorites to contemporary.  The choir always welcomes new members.
