Welcome to the Resurrection Preschool program!
For 20 years Resurrection Preschool has been preparing students for Kindergarten by helping each child grow and develop mentally, socially, physically and spiritually. The Preschool will strive to enable each child to build a positive attitude and self-confidence about his/her uniqueness, while nurturing him/her with a desire to learn. The Preschool staff provides individual attention to the needs of each student in a caring, Christian environment. At Resurrection Preschool, the small class size and individual attention by teachers and assistants foster the complete development of a student's potential.
The Preschool Director is The Rev. Scott Kidd, and the director in training is Cassie Fincher. The experienced staff members include teachers with bachelor’s degrees and teaching certificates while all lead teachers have earned a Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) in Early Childhood Education and maintain rigorous continuing education requirements. Resurrection Preschool is a member of the National Association of Episcopal Schools (NAES) and certified by Bright from the Start, a division of the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning.
Parents and local teachers continually praise Resurrection staff and students for being properly prepared for elementary school. Resurrection Preschool is proud to give each student the ethical standards and faith that are necessary for the proper maturation of the whole person.
